The 24cm size was just right for my lemon sponge and the fluted edges came out much cleaner than I expected. I greased and floured it first and the cake released in one piece.
Delivery was quick and the tin feels sturdier than the low price suggests. I used it for a marble ring cake and the carbon steel baked it evenly all the way round.
As someone who bakes regularly for charity events, I like that the centre tube gives a reliable bake through the middle. The finished ring cake looks presentable without much decoration.
